Re: Graphite RC10 with fuzzy dice
Ahh, what a beauty! Black theme is killer and the Yokomo wheels and TH adapters are just a super match to the chassis.

Re: CAT SWB Box Art Brimod shocks
Congratulations on the Brimod shocks! After following the development and "soon to come announcements" in the magazines for what felt like an eternity, I was eagerly waiting for the swb to arrive in Norway. I managed to get my claws on one from the first batch and have ever since been a CA...

Re: CAT SWB Box Art Brimod shocks
Thank you very much for your summary. Managed to get hold of the shocks you can see in the picture, but as mentioned before I've given up the unthreaded for a SWB box art build. Just have to sort out a nice project for the once I have. As per usual a new project can start with a set of turnbuckles a...

RC10 RPM '91 Worlds on black tub
Nearing a vintage race I've decided to dust off an old build of mine and let it stretch its legs. I've not posted this car before so even if it is an old and to this forum a fairly plain build, I throw it in here. At first I could not remember exactly when I built it, but opening the folder with the...

Re: RC10 RPM '91 Worlds on black tub
Thanks :D Since this is an old build I also know that I grew fond of how it's driving. There is no harm in stiffening that flimsy upper lip followed by the long configuration nose forward. So, to further contribute to stiffness in the longitudinal direction, I once again ended up with A&L. In th...

Re: RC10 RPM '91 Worlds on black tub
Fast forward, and after a couple of years rest, the car got a rebuild this year and is yet again ready for the track. Just some smaller changes to former setup. Aiming for ride heights 20 mm +/- 2 mm it still sits with 1.02 shocks front and rear. A rather big change since 2015 is the yellowing of th...

Re: RC10Talk - Celebrating 19 Years!
Congratulations, and a big thank you to the crew keeping this site going!
The years are really flying, but this is the no 1 time tunnel to get that same feeling of rc car joy from the youth.
Even now I'm just about to turn 50... Crazy stuff.

Re: Getting Big Bear running again
Good project you've got going! Big Bears are great fun and at times frustrating. It was my only non-racing car in the eighties and good fun to bring along for holiday trips when there were no tracks around. I don't have any to add on your tire question as it seems you've found the different off the ...

Re: RC10 RPM '91 Worlds on black tub
So now the dust has settled after the last Nordic Vintage Challenge, and the car returned safely home without broken legs or other injuries. It is crazy stable, but as expected a bit sluggish on a tight carpet track. My mid motor Tekin would probably have been a better choice https://www.rc10talk.co...

Re: Early Edinger rebuild
A stand still for a while on the rebuild due to other projects. Back on the workbench with this car, a question on the shock cap gasket arose. In my RC10 parts I have different gaskets and old third-party O-rings (e.g. Hot Trick). In general the gaskets/seals orbit +/- round the three rings in the p...
