do you still find parts for it? I recently bought a Top Cat that looks splendid and a Cougar 1st gen. with a red anodized chassis in pristine shape... I wrote to Schumacher some days ago to ask them if by chance they would have a Top Cat complete kit left, but the answer was of course and unfortunately NO... I could be interested in new 2wd front and rear chromed wheels for my ride, maybe new plastic CVD's and stuff that wears rapidly on this car... any proposition?

Hi, very nice car indeed; both the original design and your ride.
I noticed how shiny the side plates of your gearbox look.
I guess you polished them?

Brought out by Schumacher in 1989 the ProCAT retained the Crashback front suspension of the original CAT lineup but on a wider fiberglass chassis that allowed for saddle pack battery mounting. The front and rear diffs were also upgraded, and on the...
This is a list of screws used as per the manual with my list of modern screws that I used to replace them when I converted them all to hex heads.
Note that the UNC screws are NOT as coarse a thread...

Yes, I didn't mean that they should have used machine screws into the plastics, but that when compared to the machined metal posts of my Kyosho Optimas (which were of the same or slightly earlier generation) it felt like a cheaper option to have...
I'm looking into getting some of these made and was wondering if anyone would be interested in having a set made at the same time.
This is a 3d drawing of what will be machined out of 4mm 6082 T6 Alloy.

So after some time I've recived my custom alloy front diff hangers. The delay really was Tim who made them has only just started producing alloy parts and was waiting on a new finishing tumbler to make them all nice and shiny and smooth.
So when...
