do you still find parts for it? I recently bought a Top Cat that looks splendid and a Cougar 1st gen. with a red anodized chassis in pristine shape... I wrote to Schumacher some days ago to ask them if by chance they would have a Top Cat complete kit left, but the answer was of course and unfortunately NO... I could be interested in new 2wd front and rear chromed wheels for my ride, maybe new plastic CVD's and stuff that wears rapidly on this car... any proposition?

Hi, very nice car indeed; both the original design and your ride.

I noticed how shiny the side plates of your gearbox look.
I guess you polished them?

a lot of people seem to be polishing alu parts around here and I was wondering what's the best way to do it.
(Also wondering how long it stays shiny with aluminium normally corroding to air very quickly)

Great looking Procat , there are not many left these days
What make is the rearshockmount or is it custom made?

Hi Jeroen!

Nice to see you here! :)

I might have to post up some of my vintage Schumachers here.. my Associated collection pales in comparison to my Schueys. I don't like to talk about them too much in here 'cos I know what big Associated fans you guys are, and hey, they are the competition right?!

I think the rear shock mount is a custom piece.

BTW, the car has TQ'ed and won every round of the Championship so far!

It's not the car MR.Northy :)
Experience is that marvelous thing that enables you to recognize a mistake when you make it again.

The Procat really is a very formidable buggy and there arent a real lot of cars around from that era that will do better than it in my opinion.
I think the YZ10, Lazer or Mid's were great cars too.
