I joined this site for the sole purpose to find info and ideas to restore an old RC10, as I used to race 'em......which led to looking at "other" threads on other brands and seeing that there were many other WACKOS  out there with the same love of these old vintage cars as myself...
And it has inspired me (Infected may be a better term  ) to start collecting the cars I used to own and others I always thought were cool.....
It's a disease....

I currently have @ 4 vintage R/C projects going on as well as my scratch-built R/C scale crawler ADDICTION....

Really I only have 3 projects going right now, the worlds car which is 4 bearings and a body away from done, the wide track cut down team car which is 4 bearings and a paint job away from done (I'm waiting for an order to come from AVID) and the '94 YZ-10 which is about 50% done. I have some 10T parts that I want to put together, but I haven't commited to working on it yet so I don't really consider it a project. Most all my cars are runners with a couple rollers thrown in there. I just counted, I have 15 cars including the projects, I think that might be too many.....

the only rc10 projects i have started that i havent finished are a real racing clone and a pre-stealth mip 4x4 conversion. all i have to do on both is just dig thru all my 'good' boxes for the parts i need and put them together, just not very motivated to add another rc10 to the pile...

I never could get Paint to work worth a darn.

Quick tips. Crop the image first, then resize, save it, then EXPORT the image. Exporting removes all the meta data from the image left behind by the camera and photo software. You'll be amazed at how much smaller the file size will be after exporting.

but until then.................

the only stuff on mrlexan's project tables are worthless kyosho products. the rc10's are carelessly tossed all over the floor.
Hmmmm, kinda makes me think that I shouldn't post up the pic I want to. I am enjoying it myself. If I shut you guys up, not sure I will enjoy the silence.
I am not here cause I am playing photographer and on my mountain bike.

I've got 5 builds/projects going now: a white jrx-2, jrx-2/rc10 baja, Frog, Brat, and an RPM'd SC-10
that's plenty for me.

MS paint should always work. open a picture, go to the stretch/skew tab under tools, and i usually select 50% reduction for x and y, this should drop an image way down in size. then 'save as' a jpg, which is the most compact without significant compression distortion.

if your images are bigger than a couple meg, then stretching less than 50% might be necessary, but this always works. any pictures i have posted here are done this way.
