RC10 paint
Hello I am new the form and after 25years off raising kids I am back into the RC world, I bought this RC10 on ebay "never ran/built" and I had the body painted by a guy in Hendersonville, TN. he is still working on the wing and I am working on the driver and headlights the paint scheme was my idea and had him paint it up, I really like it so far it is not complete but I couldn’t wait I wanted to start posting on this form and see what people think thanks for looking.

Re: RC10 paint
Welcome, and neat take on the body! Like a CE mated with an original!

Re: RC10 paint
Well since my arm has been twisted, more pic's stupid question time what does the term CE mean.

Re: RC10 paint
CE= Championship Edition, the more budget friendly choice of RC10.
Welcome Dan, you'll find a lot of strange terms for RC10's depending on the era they were made. This forum has coined some new terms for RC10 collectors.

Re: RC10 paint
I know this is probley going to sound really stupid, I set the body of the 10t on the Cassie to start figuring out a paint design and check out the mounting and well have you read this post http://www.rc10talk.com/viewtopic.php?f=36&t=13789 I had the same questions should I cut the wheels wells out forward should I cut them back should I center them I could not decide I checked out different body's that would not be original. Heffay had the same question's anyway its up to auction on that bay place I'm going to find a different project it is a sweet truck but I think I would just end up putting electronics in it and end up running it its to nice for that let someone else who enjoys the T's pick it up.Mannekenpis wrote:Really nice car!

Re: RC10 paint
nice paint, I'm surprised no one here has done that scheme yet, so I guess that means that you will fit in pretty good here. BTW, cant go wrong with more pics

Re: RC10 paint
Just so we are clear, I was commenting on the paint. You have a nice blend of the CE (Championship Edition) scheme and the original box art! Cool idea! Like scr8p said the car is not a CE, you have an original RC10 (Cadillac/late Edinger).
