one thing about keeping them in the box, it keeps them fresh for collectors down the road.

if i was able to get around more and go to little hobby shops and swap meets and the like and pick up nib kits i would in a heartbeat.

still, i'd much rather look at built rc10's than boxes. hehe.

for quite a few years, i collected 1/24 nascar diecast. i have about 250 or so. i'd say about 75% of them are displayed, but the rest of them will never see the light of day. now that being said, taking one of these out of the box is the equivelent of taking an rtr rc car out of the box. it has the yup , there it is thing goin' on. you put it on the shelf or in a case and that's it. just like an rtr. you pull it from the box' put a battery in it, and you drive it down the street.

i know i could NEVER own a sealed kit of any kind. i don't have it in me to not open up the box. once open, there's NO WAY that it wouldn't get built. but that's what they're for. to be built.

wiseguy... maybe i shoulda just said hobby shops and the like.

i would imagine though that at one time or another a nib rc10 has been sold at a swap meet or flea market.

asashaw, did you get my email today?

you ever do anything with the chain drive mip stuff i traded ya awhile back? i could actually very much use one of those front universals since i cant get one of the ones i have in a kit to not bind up.

and hurry up and post some builds. boxes are cool, but they all look the same no matter how many are stacked on top of each other.

I will be posting my built cars next, just have to find a spot big enough to take a picture of them all... HA! :P

It has to be his fiancee cause a wife would never go for collecting rc cars like that

OK, maybe that is just my wife.

The only painting skills my wife has are limited to nail-size,
and I don't like micro-T's :?
