Hirobo 44B Lancia
Just bought this from ebay as I thought it would be a cool runner and was looking forward to racing it in stock class at the Castle hill vintage meet but when I received it I realised it is new built, the tyres have never had the compresion rings fitted and there isnt a scratch to be sceen.Someone has done a dodgy paint job on the body so Ill see if I can strip and repaint. It even came with the original box[poor condtion] and all the manuals for both the car and radio which is new condition.Heres some before pics before I strip the body.I really like this car but will feel bad running it.

Re: Hirobo 44B Lancia
Really nice car. I just picked up a MRP-Kong and was surprised to see that it looks exactly like the Hirobo's. I will post some pics next chance I get. MRP was American company but the instructions for the KONG are showing metric screw sizes. I have several MRP cars: highroller, Pre-110, GP-10 and all have American size screw.
Looking at your car and the KONG, they are exactly the same. Only KONG has a bracket on motor, must be to change the gear ratio. Does any one know why this is? Even the Arms are for the Hirobo, even the belt cover on the bottom seas Hirobo on it...???
I would not drive your car, but that is just me. I have to many shelf queens and not enough drivers!!

Here are some pics.
Looks like most of the parts are interchangeable. This KONG has parts on it from the Hirobo, Aluminum A-arms, bottom belt cover.
The directions do show the added parts that are not on the Hirobo. Very interesting in-dead.Looks like most of the parts are interchangeable. This KONG has parts on it from the Hirobo, Aluminum A-arms, bottom belt cover.

Tires are not that big, they are 4" tall by 2" wide. Here is a pic of a couple next to a RC10 rear tire.

ah now i know what tires and wheels I got 2or 3 years back. One thing I have to say about these; the tires are real heavy-weights
