Off all the parts to break...

Post by soniccj5 »

Spent some time at the track today. I was going down the front stretch when all of a sudden my car quit moving. I must have broken my rear arm mount on one of the jumps.

Now the search begins for a replacement.

Could it be possible to break this part by not having enough slip in the clutch? Or maybe it was my bad driving

Did the mount break? or did it shear the screw head off? The slipper clutch shouldn't cause that to break, more likely a sidways landing or a hard wall shot.

I'm more and more suprised at how durable RC10's are everytime I run mine, I put my Team Car through hell and the only part I've been able to break were shock ends on the front.

Aaaaahhhh crap! I'm about to get passed by that orange truck!

I have to agree the RC-10 can take a beating.

The mount broke and I lost the screw.

Thanks to LTO_Dave, I should have my buggy back together soon.

amen--

I had mine run over by a car once-- all that broke was the rear shock tower & one shock shaft-- it was amazing! The ABS Sand Scorcher body was totally destroyed-- shattered into a pile of plastic.

I have broken 2 left side ones in the last year! Boil them (or any other nylon parts) in water for a good 20 minutes and the will be much stronger!
