Re: 6 gear tranny on 6800kv brushless
it was fun, but i guess that is what i get for not checking the tranny before i ran the buggy, i got it and a black tube team car for really cheap and guess i should of checked it out before i put electronics in and ran it.. oh well now i will have an excuse to restore it.

Guess you didn't see all of the threads that urge against using a BL system in a 6-speed. That or you felt like grendading a vintage 6-speed rather than shelfing it and installing an MIP or Stealth. I hope it was a fun three minutes! Get a MIP off eBay.

That's par for the course. It's kinda like dropping a 502 cu in motor into a T Bucket

Re: 6 gear tranny on 6800kv brushless
well no i did not see the post on no brushless in a 6 gear, at least i have the 2 gears to fix it, it will now be restored to a driver but with a 27 turn brushed motor!. would not shelf this one somone that had it way back when drilled out holes in the chassis, so it will be a driver..

Sell it buy a Losi
I ran my pro se and LX-T both with a LRP 10.5 with no issues with both trans in them th LRM and retro fit. the LX-T lovet it and I raced it all season. the se it was to fast, it held together fine but wasnt fun on the track. it would have been fine on the beach
