834B Delta Desert Racer aka "Delta Dog"
Pretty excited about this buggy. I have been looking for the Delta Desert conversion for a couple years now and finally came across these parts. Really never thought I would find this kit let alone nip.
All the Delta parts.
Part going into the build.

Dang it I need to stop looking at this thread as I'm getting more and more envious of that parts lot.

Re: 834B Delta Desert Racer
This is probably one of the most complete Delta collection I have seen, just need some more shaft pieces and the slipper then it is complete!!

Re: 834B Delta Desert Racer
Looking forward to build pics on this one!
An 834b is really the only vintage R/C that I still want to add to my collection - I have bid on more than a few, just no deals, yet...

Re: 834B Delta Desert Racer
Thanks all for the kind words. I got things going tonight and have some progress shots to share. The Delta stuff is really nice to work with. It has all gone together very well so far. Definitely a quality company. I got most of the rear end built. I had a few Delta slotted screws laying around to mount the shock towers with.
Once I got my hands on this stuff I have been really excited to see this take shape. I figured the Advance wheels would look good with the black chassis and aluminum desert kit. Kind of following the silver and gold theme through with the gold delta shocks and Trinity motor with machined end. I also have some gold aluminum lower front a-arms. Not sure who made them but I am guessing hot trick?

I like those Delta parts. Especially the arm stiffeners. I have the hot tricks on mine but I like the shock mount hole on yours
