Yep i see those are narrower. The one im restoring now is gonna have new wide fives on it as i like the wider front tires.

associated had quite a few graphite chassis' with different looks. here's 4 different ones that i've had.

As far as graphite woven cloth is concerned, Associated's may have had numerous different looking graphite chassis since this appearance is dependent on the woven cloth they (or whomever made the chassis to their specs for them) would have received each time they had a run made.
Great images here scr8p, showing some of the differences in appearance!
Notice also the AE is cut with different cutters here, the top two with two different ball end-mills and the 3rd with a flat end-mill from what I can see.

I think since i have a mint worlds car on the way im going to sell this chassis and nose plate and install all other parts on a new team car chassis to make a runner for the track.
