Nice, will be looking forward to seeing the progress on this. I too recently acquired a Worlds car but missing several components. All the main stuff is there though.

I started attempting to remove the pink dye from the white nylon. I have about 70% of the pink gone but still have a ways to go. Slow process.

I will post pics under my thread when I get the white nylon done.

I hear ya on other projects as well.

I thought it looked like it had more kickup in the front, I might need to get a new nose piece once it gets here.

If things seem under control, you are just not going fast enough.

Got o rear tower coming from Fastang. Thanks again and i snagged this very nice graphite team car. I put in a max bid of 130.00 and actually got it for 96.00. Has new tires and wheels. I have to stop spending and finish some projects.

That looks like a big 6k chassis, not a ton of those around

The "regular" CF look to a AE chassis is called 3k plainweave, the larger strips in that fabric are called 6k plainweave- I'm not sure how AE had such a variation in production as Contractual work for AE specs exact parameters including finish and raw product, but they did run them for a short bit, maybe a fabric shortage of some type

Sorry, I just realized that I didn't answer your question-

The regular chassis has the small checkerboard pattern in the top layer, yours appears to have the rarer larger checkerboard pattern
