TLT-1 custom crawler
Im new to crawling.
Just bought this TLT-1 cralwer...
Has: stock chassis (cut down) stock body, Moab tires, 2.2 on beed lock rims, traxxas links, threaded alum shocks, wheel widener kit, Trans & diffs are locked, Novak XRS speed control (bad) & bad motor also has traxxas drive shafts & a stock trans that was locked & has a HPI belt with a tensioner, difs are locked as well.
I added my Airtronics; Caliber 3PS radio, 92736 reciever, 94158 servo. had to fix the link set-up as they poped off with more than half articulation... Going to step up to Tmaxx shocks & probably buy or make a custom chassis
hated the tiny stock body, so i found this cool litle plastic tonka toy car @ the good will & thought it might work as a temporary body for the TLT-1.
It actualy looks even better than I thought it might. I have the perfect LED taillights & some headlights that might be the right size. just have to find them. may even do some dash lights. weel see if i get that bored..
Had to move the batery up inside the front of the bodie.
I need a new battery & probably a differant motor. Didnt have much torque (barly wanted to climb this tiny pile of rocks), but may be the weak battery. will most likely need a different chassis with more center ground clearance.
& YES it willget a VW body @ some point.
