I got several Stealth gear boxes myself..........I noticed 4 out of 5 have a small slit at the bottom side of the gear box ........which potentially will have dirt going in .........is it a defect or the factory "intentionally" making such a design ??.......
the case molding is VERY thin there, so it doesn't suprise me that some might be damaged, either from what Johnny says, or someone snapping the case together and catching an edge and tearing it.
I meant Don!!!!! hahhahhah....brain is very slow today!!!
Has any one else had a problem with the left side out put saft on the gear box sticking out to far? the right side is flush but the left wont go in any farther and is causing the axle to bind up. Any way to fix this? Or is it one of those this you...

i had stock ones on it but went with a little shorter ones to help out with the biding. I thought it was because of the a-arm too so i put new ones on it and it still binds. i wonder if i could shorten the out put shaft a little bit and that would...
Is associated #6571 the correct top shaft for the stealth buggy trans? And does the 10t use the same shaft? Looking at some online docs can get confusing :?

I am converting a black tub rc10t to brushless and I am attempting to do the b4.1 shaft conversion.
I am having a problem with the shaft getting tight. The transmission spins finer until I put the tensioning spring and nut on the spur gear.
A soon...

I removed the spacer and it worked perfectly. The spur ended up being close to the motor plate but not touching.
Thanks for all the help.
I have an RC10 B3 with a stealth transmission. Installed a brushless system and the transmission slips bad. I tightened the slipper clutch all the way and it still slips.
With the slipper fully tightened and holding both wheels down, i can turn the...

It was the differential slipping. I removed the rear right wheel, tightened it up a bit then backed off. Works! Now gotta work on the good pan
After locating a used upper shaft for mounting the hydra unit on a stealth trans, I'm having having a problem after the complete unit is installed and going to put the rpm gear cover on( cover hits the unit). I knew there was a problem as soon as I...

Whoa...first of all what is a Hydra drive and how does it improve your tranny?
It’s like a lock up torque converter from a full size automatic transmission. The interior rotor and the housing have vanes and it’s filled with thick shock fluid. It...
