Stealth transmission slipping problem

I have an RC10 B3 with a stealth transmission. Installed a brushless system and the transmission slips bad. I tightened the slipper clutch all the way and it still slips.

With the slipper fully tightened and holding both wheels down, i can turn the spur gear, clutch assy in both directions. Not sure if something is wrong internally.

Anyone have any ideas?

It could be one of two things, either the slipper clutch is slipping or the differential is slipping.

Can you determine which it is?

It was the differential slipping. I removed the rear right wheel, tightened it up a bit then backed off. Works! Now gotta work on the good pan

I've got a 7001 RC10T with the Stealth Trans. I've been running a 5700Kv Castle, which in hind sight is way overkill. It seems to slip pretty hard out of corners and over jumps now that I'm trying to race at my local track even though I've turned...

I second the upgrade to the v2 slipper. I've bought parts to upgrade most of my older stealths. Sometimes if you do get some slipping, you can rough up the slipper disc(s) with some fine grit sand paper. Also wouldn't hurt to rebuild the diff.

When I take off at any speed, there is major slipping and you can hear it. Im 90 percent sure that its my stealth diff. My slipper clutch is completely tight and i cant detect any slippage by sight or feel with a paperclip ot wire. The ball bearings...

I got several Stealth gear boxes myself..........I noticed 4 out of 5 have a small slit at the bottom side of the gear box ........which potentially will have dirt going in .........is it a defect or the factory intentionally making such a design...

I am converting a black tub rc10t to brushless and I am attempting to do the b4.1 shaft conversion.
I am having a problem with the shaft getting tight. The transmission spins finer until I put the tensioning spring and nut on the spur gear.

I removed the spacer and it worked perfectly. The spur ended up being close to the motor plate but not touching.
