JRX2 5 link rear end differance
My mate just bought 2 JRX2's .
One buggy and one Truck.
I noticed on the back of the motor plate mine says Losi performance. On his its stamped JRX2.
The back controll arms have lots of little holes. im not sure for what reason this is for. Mine doesn't.
Any body noticed this.
Thanks.

Re: JRX2 5 link rear end differance
Actually, there were atleast 4 different versions of the silver motor plate.
1. Blank - no markings - light silver
2. Jrx2 - Jrx2 - light silver
3. Team Losi Performance - Team Losi Performance - light silver - with a notch
4. Team Losi Performance - Team Losi Performance - dark silver - with a notch
There were also yellow powder coated motor plates. I also remeber seeing a purple anodized version...but I'm not sure if that was factory or a custom anodized part.
Regards,

Agrees on protecting that chassis!
I think all of us here are stalking ebay.
I have one that is like an 8 out of 10, and 2 functional chassis but ugly and I dream of finding a new in package one at some local hobby shop basement for $12

Ha ha same here! One half nice chassis whilst the rest are useable but easthetically challenged!.... everyday I have a quick search on ebay & look at the same old odd wheels & perculiar Jrx2 parts nobody wantsRCveteran wrote:Agrees on protecting that chassis!

As for differences in Jrx2 parts - there just seems to be so many... I've got enough new parts to build a car (less the chassis) but ensuring that its period correct (early/mid/late generation) with the correct parts seems almost impossible.... luckily I recently brought a complete car (for the chassis plate alone) that looks to have been little used & appears all original - this car has the plain motor plate, early battery box but with three hole rear tower... matching my new parts so i'm going to use this car as a blue-print for the new-build

Edit; RC-Veteran; I just re-read this thread, was you mean't to be replying to Kaiser's 'Back into a Jrx2' thread? I must admit I've just come from reading that one & read your post off the back of it

Re: JRX2 5 link rear end differance
I have the same problem, I have various parts cars acquired over the years so all my 5 link parts are a mix of generations, as is my shelf queen but it works for me.
