Re: What did Santa give you?
HI!... Well I treated myself to :
- 3 used gold tub RC10's
- 1 used graphite RC10
- A ton of vintage RC10 tires
- 4 new RC10 bodies/wings
- a Tamiya Blackfoot chassis
- two sets of almost new vintage RC10 "Jelly Bean" wheels.
So this takes mt RC10 head count to 10 cars in 2 months. lol!

Re: What did Santa give you?
Heh, yeah, they ain't cheap (but then again neither is this hobby)! I didn't get them all at once and I don't have the publisher's versions (of these at least) which are double the price. Open Roads and Front Engines is out of print and I had to wait for 2 years for one to come up on ebay. The four books by János Wimpffen are HUGE by the way with thick, high quality paper which is part of the reason for the price.treehugger wrote:wow ok ill put that on ferarri list "Things i need after i win the lotto "cool indeed hopefully some pages will make it to your scanner

This is one I got a few years ago from my mom (put it on my Christmas list). Now they're selling for over $500 on amazon.

amazon link
I also have the signed version of the Mario Andretti book, the McLaren F1 book written by Gordon Murray, and some other high end car books. I really dig high quality car books so I feel like it's worth the investment.

Re: What did Santa give you?
I guess you could say Santa "gave" this to me. At any rate It's been occupying most of my time for the last week or so...
