my buddy showed his RC10 with the same way to hold the body. he didn't have any special reason on it like traction or some else. just didn't have a body post. and I tried myself too. the angle was bent with a hair dryer. and was quite easy to work
I've been carefully trimming and mounting a body and have come to the part where I have problems/mess up... the front post. I don't want to mess up at this point because it's coming out really nice.
Can you guys give me some tips and or help?

How about a washer held on with good double sided tape (on the body). Save the magnets for mounting on the car?
Has anyone tried mounting a body to the A&L RC10 conversion? The A&L shock tower is significantly taller than the stock one. I'm wondering if there is a specific body that works with this or if a Viper/Protech I or II can be used. Maybe A&L bodies...

I use these :
I use the same things, mine are Yeah Racing ones. Still needs some measuring inside the body to make sure it's centred before reaming the holes but it does show you exactly where the holes need to be.
So I have a proline truck conversion that I’ve mounted onto an Andy’s trailing arm car and need to find a nice factory looking way of mounting the body

opened my eyes to some different possibilities :D
With the body of my old Bandit being cracked pretty much everywhere, it occured to me that at some point it might require replacing. However, with the old style body being almost impossible to get hold of, it occurred to me the new body could do...

But its the sort of little program that an RC car manufacturer could develop. Wouldn't it be neat if you designed your bodies online and they sent'em off to you fully painted?
I have no idea if the painting process is automatable or not......
