I have too much.......

Post by Synergy »

cack :!:

I've been in the loft today looking for a set of Yokomo instruction, I felt sure I would be able to put my hands straight on them, errr no, I've got WAY too much stuff

I've only been collecting vintage for 6 years and I can't remember why I bought half the stuff up there  I must make a resolution to build some flipping projects instead of buying more parts, I need some clarity on what I need rather than "oooo that's nice" buying

However it was nice to stumble upon a NIB Tamiya TT01 Lancia Delta with finished body and a brand new Bruiser front and rear cabs both of which I had forgotten about

It is nice to have a Christmas moment when going through my stuff but it sucks when that one thing I really need is lost in a crate somewhere.

I don't have too much stuff I just have nowhere to put it. I was going to build a barn this Spring, but now we're looking at houses. I don't want to build a barn if we're going to sell. I'd never get my money back out of it. Kinda sucks. A good work space is essential in our next home.

My moment of discovery usually comes right after I purchase a duplicate of that part that I could have sworn I didn't have.

If you walk in my backyard you can find a few R/C parts on the ground. I was going to pick them up but it is like a tiny junkyard. I have an R/C junkyard.

I've done that a few times. Most recently with a Stealth trans brace. I bought one only to find out a few days later that I already had one. Though in my defense it was in a box that hadn't been opened in a good 8 years.

The moment I sold it would be the exact moment I'd remember why I bought it
