for the record, this is NOT how the car looked after the race, which is how my car will be.

well, i figured if someone wants to steal my thunder and replicate the car before mine is done, they can. i'm still at the point where i can easily make this a replica from another race around the same time frame. i have beautiful pics of that car, too. actually, even better than what i have for this car.

:D :D :D I appreciate the pic man, love it. Where did you get the pics from?
That photo doesn't show much anyway the good stuff is inside.

You should maybe try to get this one finish before all the other 300 projects you have.

so, i grabbed this 7 cell pack off ebay a few weeks back to use for this build. i know, they're 1500's. but they're new, yellow, and would've been close enough for me.

i was actually kinda bummed when i opened the package and found out that those 7 new red cells were 1200's. i really hoped they were 1400's. but, i wasn't gonna send the guy a question and wait for an answer.

i'm probably gonna regret buying these in the morning, but atleast the car will have 2 new ones instead of one straight and one bent used bones.

I won't spoil it by posting a pic with the body off, but here is a pic of Jay Halsey's car with the body off from the same race.
