Re: My first RC10T
maybe it would be more fitting to try a more simple paint layout similar to this one
I'm thinking yellow on the bottom white on the top with a red stripe dividing the two

Re: My first RC10T
That works, and should be easy to do!

Damn, that's gonna have a real nice retro feel to it.

Thanks! I hope the decals adds to it. I plan on adding a wing to it, but haven't got the lexan sheet from the LHS yet.THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:Damn, that's gonna have a real nice retro feel to it.

Re: My first RC10T
I ordered a Tekin RS 8.5T Redline combo for it tonight using money I got from selling an "old but new" RC10 and a RC10 Andy's truck conversion with the original box... Thanks Daniel (dldiaz)
I hope you enjoy the cars as muck as I will enjoy my Tekin

Re: My first RC10T
Got my Tekin system and my wing put on. I used clear 3M double sided tape for the wing and Got modern rubber for the rear tires. I just need a set of white servo mounts and a tie rod for the steering and I'm ready for the track

Re: My first RC10T
Looks great Anthony! I love the red and yellow wire you chose for the esc!

Re: My first RC10T
Thanks Rod! It looks a lot better than my 870C wiring, lol. I will have to dig out some servo mounts when I get back and that extra FT turnbuckle I stripped too. I will bring the 10T by when I come. I will also bring the extra 870C parts I got here.slotcarrod wrote:Looks great Anthony! I love the red and yellow wire you chose for the esc!

Re: My first RC10T
After running on some tracks more designed for 8th scalers, my square 10T body has taken a beating doing cartwheels down the track. Have to hit those big jumps just right, and when you have limited experience on the track you do a lot of cartwheels.
I got a JC illuzion T4 body for cheap at a going closing out sale. I didn't know how it would line up, but it worked out pretty good. I aligned the rear shock tower up with where it would should be on the body. It sits a bit forward, but functions perfect. I needed to install some long body post and trim them down to get the front to fit. All and all I'm pretty happy with it, despite it sitting just a bit high on the chassis.
This body should be a bit more durable.... hopefully

Re: My first RC10T
I finally put that T2 body to use. I think it will look great on the track this summer!
