It sure looks new, but there was some grime in one of the upper holes one each side. There were no other marks on it though.

Re: My Contribution to the 25yrs of the RC10 thread
I got to see these cars in person yesterday. Oh Man that Graphite car is so nice, it's going to be a shame to have to run it!
Your doing some great work VAE, thank you for the help!

Re: My Contribution to the 25yrs of the RC10 thread
Okay guys here are the real photos. I didn't put shorty bumper and the chassis tape on the graphite car yet. There are some small bumps along the way too. But nothing that cant be fixed with a drill and some CA glue
For craps and giggles I threw my runner into the mix, but it just doesn't measure up all dirty like it is

CA glue....Drill!
?
They look great Anthony!
Is that the correct position for the front shock on the tower? I'm thinking center lower hole?

Re: My Contribution to the 25yrs of the RC10 thread
I think you are right.
Glue, because I suck ass a gluing and if these wheels are going to be used in comparison with the others, these two will have clown tires on them compared to the others. I will let you glue them. A drill would help me ream out the rear wheel holes that shrunk while someone dyed them black, not me
A drill would also help me ream out the servo saver arm hole. I crack the first one because I didn't ream it good enough with my knife
so I had to use another one and just put in a small ball stud for show
I didn't lay down the chassis tape because I wasn't sure if you wanted to glue the edge of the chassis first, which I will also leave that up to
Rod, yup, you again with the glue
Back to those rear wheels, I could screw them on and then pop them on the pin once on far enough

That is where most of us are running the front shocks on high bite or blue grooved tracks-

We want these as close to box stock as possible so we can make a better comparison when they are lap timed at the track!Charlie don't surf wrote:That is where most of us are running the front shocks on high bite or blue grooved tracks-
No problem Anthony, I can do all the gluing! We don't want you mistaking the glue for "the lube" again!
