Top cat chassis

I have a quick question I was hoping someone could help with.

Do the Topcat and the original Cougar share the same chassis?
Apart from the front end damper design, what other changes were made to the cougar?

Yes the Cougar and the Topcat share the same chassis. The Topcat has additional holes drilled for the front end shock mounting and servo mounts.

The rear end is identical on both models.

The Cougar also had slightly more swept forward rear wishbones, reducing the wheelbase slightly. Similar to (or possibly the same part as) the Procat.

These cars dont seem to come up for sale so often, so I was just looking into the possibility of restoration using Cougar parts.
