SRTracer121 wrote:lipo should be fine. the 2s packs (it uses 2 spc 2s2p lipos so makes it 4 cells in each pack for a total of 8 ) in my truggy were pretty knackered looking after it got hit by a car the other week. the cases are ruined but the cells are fine. the one that was stacked on top had some tweeking in the shape of the cells. they still balance and charge fine. infact the heat from subsequent discharges has let the cells flex back into shape and they are right as rain now.
Thanks, this is a little re-assuring, although mine has been compressed slightly and has a actual crease, rather than just being bent. I'll try charging in the garage safely and see what happens.

Ahhh... I see you found one of my Chuck pics. Yes he lives in my basement, spends most of his time riding vintage BMX bikes. I can't hate, he's got a nice collection.

When he moved in he said he was gonna help me finish some builds but he's lazy.

Some say................................................................................. Glaucoma treatments make Chuck fond of crunchy foods.
And once he rode to Dorchester with both legs tied behind his back, peddling with only his John Thomas.

Oh how I miss the days of sitting on the couch and eating a whole bag of Doritos while watching The Flintstones... :(

Sadly no, but it has to do with age rather than fun.

Love it! I remember "accidentally on purpose" bending the crank on my Cyclepro so I could get a Compact Disc! 8)

Although I'm guessing you were looking for the BMX thread! :P
