yup, that's right. i was at my rc10 anonymous meeting today working on my 12 step program. the second step required me to purchase a jrx2.

take some better pics when you get it. That looks like a very early car.
Rear shock tower has no holes(but is missing body mount), rear links have no holes, it has the original style battery box, and the motor plate looks like the early no-logo plate.

The earliest release had:
- shock tower with no holes
- rear links, where two holes (as opposed to the four holes of the later models)

But I probably telling you something you already knew.

to be honest, it was a real impulsive buy on my part. i had been watching it for a couple days, but i wasn't sure if i was gonna go after it or not. when i got onto ebay today, there was 3 minutes left on it. so i figured screw it. i put a $55 max on it. if i won it, cool. if i didn't, no biggie. i was real surprised when i won. i thought it'd go higher. and if it'd been a paypal only auction, i would've had to pass on it. that bitch is almost empty.

nah, no leap. i've just always wanted a losi with a 5 link. in all my years of rc, the only losi i've ever had is a junior t. twice.

it'll be kinda cool if it is an early one. it seems to be so far, with what you guys have mentioned. i'm not up on the losi stuff to really know the difference. i just wish a body came with it.

Nice grab Jason, I was watching that one too, and if I would not have like 5 Jrx-2/pro I would have bid on it for sure, nice condition, a few scratches underneath, but all early parts. The rear shock tower could also be a Trinity one (those have like blinging reflects in them) I have both front and rear on one of mine

I don't have my box in front of me, but I want to say (from memory) the box art tower doesn't have holes.

i'm guessing, to find an org. rear tower without the holes will be a problem? being as though the body mounting tab has either been cut, or broken off, i like to be able to replace it.
