Small update...Sourced some diamond wing buttons and cleaned up the body some. Some might have noticed in previous pictures that the body had a wavy like texture on the outside. This was caused due to being painted on the exterior with red and yellow paint(the orange is inside). Drake fluid took it right off. Then I figured I would try and take out some of the scratches in the lexan so I waxed it haha. This is how it turned out...not perfect but alot better.

That looks stellar! You might hit the body with some plastic polish and then rewax it to get it even smoother.

Thanks guys!

I am debating whether or not to decal up the body, might slap a number on it a call it a day.

Future plans for this car include finding notched pistons, rear spring cups, and a light gold nose that's in better shape than the one currently on the car. Due to the scarcity of these parts I’m sure that will be a while before I find those. :( haha

what's wrong with keeping it the way it came out of the box?

It's a wrap. Plain and simple. Off to the shelf she goes...

The funny thing is I catch myself staring at it from time to time, I'm sure I'm not the only one who does this right? lol

That's what you do with shelfers - you look at them
With all the time and work it took to clean it up I hope you stare at it :!:

Amazing what a little soap and water will do...
Looks Sweeeet!
Remember it's either a runner or a shelfer. Everything else is just parts.
