Rod End Question

Post by TamiyaTony »

Simple question here, what is the thread size for the RC10 Gold Pan shock shaft? I plan to get some aluminum rod ends, so I need the proper size (M3, M4, etc.) Thanks!

Thank you my friend. Does that mean it's an M4? Sorry for being a noob here.

Okay, I believe it's 4-40 and that's it. The "M" is for a different kind of thread. Thanks!

The M stands for metric threads, the rc10 uses standard American threads.

correct. it uses american thread, which is a number 4 machine screw. Coarse thread of 40 threads per inch, hence 4-40.
