Carbon Cougar chassis
Just been looking at the RC10 graphite cars
Has anyone done a similar style of flat carbon chassis on the Cougar 1/2??
I have a 3rd car on the way and thinking about ideas!

Re: Carbon Cougar chassis
There is only the Composite Craft one for the Topcat that I know of.
Alternatively there was a carbon fiber tub made for it but they are uber rare. Been looking for years with no luck.

Re: Carbon Cougar chassis
Out of curiosity Jeroen, did you have to drill new holes for the Cougar 2 works, or were there different versions of the carbon tub?
Either way, as everyone has said these are the holy grail.
Paul.

Re: Carbon Cougar chassis
No they are not. Many have tried and failed to get some made. They threw out the mold years ago.Are fiberlite still making this chassis??
I tried years ago but they wanted $1400.
A member here CATS tried to get some made a while back too but he said they were rubbish so it never went anywhere.
Also a guy on OOPLE tried without success.
I have a CAD drawing of the chassis if anyone is interested in pursuing it. I would be in for 2 at least.

The chassis were for the Topcat and cougar1+2 , so i had to drill some new holes in the chassis , to fit the C2W transmission.
