I was lucky to be at a trade show the same time Gene was promoting his AE video's and got him and a few others to sign it!

If your talking about the motor in the Edinger. It is an Edinger label.

The rc10 was one of the cars that I wanted to own when I was younger and this thread has been very helpful in my pursuit of finally owning one of these cars.
Thank you to all that have contributed to it , you have helped an newbie know and understand this car better.

Just discovered by accident while replacing a C hub on my current early car build.
AE added some meat to the steering arm at some point (late 1985?).

are the white suspension parts on the early light gold chassis cars any different then the later cars beside the rear shock cups. i noticed a post on here that the front steering arms are a little thicker on the early cars.

Also the shock tool that came with earlier cars are not stamped "AE" while later ones are.

Haha I did not notice that either. I never had both tools next to each other to notice the different placement.

very nice writeup for the first post.

i just acquired a used RC10. It has 6 gears transmission and one of the plastic gear has a broken teeth that need replacement. As neither me nor the previous owner know anything about this rc10 hopefully some experts here can help me identified this transmission gear.

Can anyone tell me how many types of transmission ( stealth and 6 gears) were manufactured and were put into this RC10?

the little gear might be 6620 or 6621 base on the manual from team associated.

You need the "NEW" black idler gears # 6614! For the six gear tranny!
