I'm getting an R5 in a week and can post up pics and measure it up if you like.

Probably not. They also use different screw sizes.

+1, and the RC10R5 went metric too, all the bulkhead holes are not in the same old RC10L Series locations - ground up new design.EvolutionRevolution wrote:Probably not. They also use different screw sizes.

You can always put together a nice rear pod using IRS parts if you like, you can even get them in plain aluminum clear anodizing.

Sorry no...
The RC10L bulkheads are mounted with two different fastener sizes, a 8-32 screw and a 4-40 screw, where the bulkheads for the L3 are only mounted with only 4-40 screws.

Years ago they offered the "Old Style" left and right pod plates, such as Niftech did (Niftechs were nicer though IMO and only came in plain aluminum finish)EvolutionRevolution wrote:Aren't those for L2's and later?drbelleville wrote:You can always put together a nice rear pod using IRS parts if you like, you can even get them in plain aluminum clear anodizing.

- But you are now correct since they have updated to their new site, they are no longer in the catalog and are for the 10L2 / 12LC and later cars.

Just keep an eye out in the bay though, and if you can see a Sassy Chassis or Proline (Titanium) one Piece Pod don't pass it up

i have one of these i might put on it at some point. It is on an on road project i built right now though. I also have a nice set of black locking hubs for it and the telesis front end to install as well. I have cleaned up this rear pod and removed the broke off screw. its as good as new now.
