increasing rear track on a b3 buggy

Post by scomyo3 »

Looking for rear rim options to increase rear track width on a b3. Are there any other rims with wider offset that work on this car ? thanx for listening

Would i be better off trying t3 arms and bones ? And can i use b3 rims with t3 rear arms ? i am trying to get the car a bit wider in the rear as i am club racing it in a world filled with 22s and b4.2s lol the car has some thunder tiger parts on it and they have arms and bones for there t3 the phoenix st i can still get associated t3 stuff but just to try it out was thinking thunder tiger as it is like $20 for everything at tower hobbies arms, bones, and turnbuckles and i have found there plastics to be great a little more flex then associated but not too bad .Was this something that people did back in the day or am i way off base any input is greatly appreciated thanx for reading this far peace!

If you can get away with it, try T3 rims and stretch buggy tires on to them.

Could go for B4 carrier hubs in the rear but can't say whether or not the B4 CVDs will be the correct length with B3 rear arms.

tried truck rims with a set of calibers had to use stock foam, closed cell wouldnt compress enuff tried 30 wt shock oil from 35 wt to compensate but this seems to have made rear end hop more on rough sections i have t3 arms and axles etc coming sat hope the b3 rims will fit on there as i dont like the truck rims i have on there now i think the foams might be behaving oddly maybe i could try trimming some truck foams to fit this is ticking me off i got beat by 5 losi 22s last week lol
