Sounds daft this, but 3D printing scares me, don't know why!
I watched a programme about it, they printed a whistle, complete with pea inside, can't get my head round that

Re: 3D printing and RC cars
A co-worker of mine picked up a ball bearing done on one at a trade show once. A working ball bearing about the diameter of a pop bottle. The tolerance was not very good.
They probably would have had to break the pea off inside the whistle after it was done? It would have to be attached to something to print it no?
I dont know. Just blabbing.

Re: 3D printing and RC cars
It doesn't have to be attached, there is a "support" material that is removed after the part is finished.
