the WOIN car is coming around, the change to the RPM style front tower worked wonders on the cars handling. the CE is still very easy to drive and its hard to pull away from it to work on the WOIN car. tonight I refreshed all the truck shocks, took the stock AE steering parts off and put in BB RPM steering. also found that I was using 1.5 (standard) rear mounts and zero degree LXT rear carriers, so running 1/2 the rear toe of other cars. i put on some 3 degree rear T2 mounts, quick test out front of the house feels reallllllly good. cant wait to hit the track and put some serious testing/tuning on this car.
I did get to test the car a bit the last time at the track, but a short course truck decided my car worked well as a back stop after the main straight and busted a rear carrier. the 10 or so laps i did get with the car it felt pretty good.
jury is still out, the car is very well put together (age has its advantages finally), running a non-boosted 10.5 geared 23/78, stock stealth, very quick, not too much top end down the straight that i need to use the brakes to slow down, just enough to coast into the sweeper and start getting back on the gas

, the boosted 17.5 in my CE i would have to tap the brakes a couple times, the top end is crazy (geared almost exactly the same).
i am planning another CE based build next, runner of course, no shelfers allowed in my garage

just need to justify (in my mind) why i need yet another 2wd buggy for racing (CE, WOIN, JRX2, B4, TLR22), I can only run 2 classes, stock and mod.
I will try to get a shot up after the refresher tonight, i need to get it off my phone and onto the 'puter.
