Been messing with the gold pan the last couple of days, took out the crappy traxxas ESC I had in there, reprogramed and installed a axial (castle sidewinder) ESC in there instead, running into a Trinity Cobalt Pro 27t stock brushed motor. I got a new body and wing and got it all painted up. I took and did a little trimming here and there and got a B2 spur gear cover to fit very nice. I also ordered a set of wheels & tires from JC Racing so I can run this at my track, just to play with it a bit.

This ESC came out of my Axial Wraith (which is brushed), it is made by Castle and is basically a sidewinder ESC. I have the Catlelink setup so I can plug it into my laptop and completely reprogram it. (which I did) I may be able to run a brushless with this too, just trying to confirm that.
Although all I have is bald tires (no JC wheels yet) I'm gonn a take the 'ol car to the track tonight for a little test n tune n fun! I race Short Course Mod tonight, I'm sure the old RC10 will draw some attention when I put it on the track for a little practice!
Got my NIP Tekin ESC and receiver installed in my RC10 and it's ready to roll.
Finished the decals,too.
Just a few small items left and it'll be all good. :D

Vintage Pro-line V-Groove front tires, PN: 019F or 1022.
guys lemme tell ya, being on a racing photoshoot for an entire week in miami is both a blessing and a curse... it was reallly really hot and my feet still hurt from standing on the track all darn day. now i have the unfortunate task of editing the...
Just bought this heap off eBay cool part is it still has the original sales receipt from 1982. Any reason the tires would be covered in silicone?? Better traction?
Man, I just got a Traxxas Slash in today.....you think it was a 8th scale or something...the thing is huge!

The Slash will be more user friendly and durable than a Mini T. My son has taken his full speed into a brick wall more than once already. Scratched up the body a bit. I am tempted to put the speedo into Trainer mode for him, but I know he will be...
So I have this B2 I picked up as a roller, and just happened to try and stick a steering servo in the car. I think it was an S128 or S148 futuba servo, standard size. It wouldn't quite fit in the small space for a servo. I checked the manual but...

Good to hear you got it worked out.
Since it does fit in so tight,
it will be the last thing to fall out when doing cartwheels !!!!!
I stumbled across a good find on craigslist. I picked up an unused /partially build T2 for $65. Diamond in the rough meaning most of the part bags are open and scattered in the box and it looks like the thing sat in a garage for 10 years. It is all...
