Where did you get the motor plate from, I need a grooved one like yours
Thank you for the compliments friends. The heat sink motor plate came with a donor car back in the beginning. Not sure who makes them but it is a nice peice.

I'm down to a few parts I really need for my three Mid projects which I have this feeling I will never find
i've seen some pics where the rear wing is mounted on the shock tower instead of using the aluminum tubes. the metal wire from the wing is put into a small metal piece that screwed into one of the shock mounts and held in place by a little set...

It was the lazer ZX-R which came with medium shocks at front.
Not sure if it will look as beautiful with medium shocks however.

Fellow Optimists :) Can anybody point me to a tall front shock tower for an optima mid? I plan to build a turbo optima mid special and apply a long front shock setup to it like many drivers used in that era. I am looking either for a design or...

I broke my fibreglass front long shocktower so i will be making a new one out of 3 or 4mm thick aluminium. Will post pics once its done.
Does anyone feels like the rear shocks on the optima/javelin rere should have a thiker oil? I finished building my car and when I drop it on the table from about 20cm, the rear bottom bangs on the table. I filled the shocks according to...

If the oil is too thick or the piston holes too small, you'll probably get...
Found this beast in a lot of RC cars I purchased. Have not got a chance to start working on it yet, but couldn't wait to show it off any longer. If anyone has info on this please add it.
Just read that a BEC kit was sold and can be ascertained by...
