Ira Dahm's Custom Model
Stumbled across a gallery of Ira Dahm's custom model cars just now and thought it was pretty neat. Probably old news to everyone but me though.

Re: Ira Dahm's Custom Model
It's new to me and I loved it! It's another site that just reminds me how inferior my passion about anything is! I mean there are about half a dozen subjects in this world that I consider myself passionate about, but something like that really humbles the soul of anyone.
On a slightly related note: I wish a beer wagon like that would travel around here like an ice cream truck.

Bums me out a bit that at the bottom of every page for models built before 2007 there's the Dahm's Racing Bodies logo...but from 2007 on the logo is gone.

Re: Ira Dahm's Custom Model
Pardon my ignorance, but did he die in 2007 or something? I'm familiar with the name, but not the entire history.Phin wrote:Bums me out a bit that at the bottom of every page for models built before 2007 there's the Dahm's Racing Bodies logo...but from 2007 on the logo is gone.

Well... it could be worse then I guess... Still shaking my head over his commitment though. Unbelievable!Phin wrote:Heh nah. I think he stopped using the logo because it's about the time when he sold Dahm's Bodies to Vans Invent.

If you lived in Cologne, Germany, you could ride around the city on the Beer Bike with a bunch of your friends http://bierbike.de/THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:On a slightly related note: I wish a beer wagon like that would travel around here like an ice cream truck.

They've got this in Munich too...it's like they want their population to be drunk. It's one of about 5 things I love in Germany...adam lancia wrote:If you lived in Cologne, Germany, you could ride around the city on the Beer Bike with a bunch of your friends http://bierbike.de/THEYTOOKMYTHUMB wrote:On a slightly related note: I wish a beer wagon like that would travel around here like an ice cream truck.
