Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
thanks guys, once i rub about a gallon of naval jelly on it like i said, it will be nice and chrome again, then gonna send it out for powercoating, before i decide to change it again lol.
next one im gonna make is maybe a truck rc10t or possibly a rc10gt truck converted into a buggy, going to extend the wheelbase longer to give it a better look. not sure what im going to do yet lol.

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
thanks alot... i am actually going to take off the headlight mounts.. just dont think they look good, little too big and cant find something suitable, so they are coming off lol
Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
Do those front wishbone/shock mount blocks have holes in the top for the ball studs?
Looks great btw.

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
thank you... actually the ball studs that hold the caster blocks are in the hole right now for the front sway bar.. i am trying to figure out a way to change it, i have shock clearance problems i didnt anticipate
Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
Mmmmm, how does that hole relate to the usual hole in the shock mount? Is his an easy way to give the old tub upright ball stud adjustment?

Re: All Alloy Tube Chassis (near completion)
the hole is slightly more toward the shock then, and thats the problem im having.. the turnbuckle will stay parallel to the arm, which is what you want... but i had to add a small spacer to raise it a tad... i think i am going to have to either use a shock tower... which i really dont want to do... or make something really custom to fit it...
basically the turnbuckle is rubbing the spring
dont know what im going to do yet.. was too frustrated to look at it last night...
tonight.. i am making a custom wing "you-g" double wing adjustable style, and then possibly the tower..
