AVID RC Triad Slipper Clutch vs AE VTS Slipper Clutch
Hey guys, just wondering if anyone here has tried either setup on the RC10? Since many of us have upgraded the top shaft to a B4 one, I would think that we could use either setup but I wanted to see if anyone here had any experience with either setup.

I've wondered the same thing, as I have a build that I was going to try one one. Since it seems like it's "Out of Stock" at the moment, may be that it has become relatively popular.

I put the VTS on my sons truck last week. Very very nice when using the softer settings.....I also like not having different spurs

Wow, the avid triad has a full clutch pack. Very impressive. The instructions say it's for a B4.1 or B44.1. Do the B4 and B4.1 have the same top shaft? I think I used a B4 topshaft on my old/ new build. Does it even matter?

Yep, or at least the same notched shaft and spacing. Make sure to get plenty of spurs!!RichieRich wrote:Wow, the avid triad has a full clutch pack. Very impressive. I'm going to stay away from the Avid one. I got enough trendy spur gears already. But this car may just get a VTS as a modern hydra-drive nod.

I'm still floating back and forth, but I think I'm going to pick the Avid setup and try it in my b4.1 and see how it compairs to my vented slipper with Garodisks.
