Well, my racing buddy came thru for me once again! I honestly think all he does is hang around the hobby shop waiting for people to bring in old stuff....
He recently picked up this TA03F Pro along with quite a few others. I managed to get this car, new built sitting in the kit box, an almost mint Optima Mid SE, and a new built CRC T fource 1/12 pan car for $250. $150 for the Optima, $50 for the T Fource, and $50 for this one. Not a bad deal at all.
The build on this car was about 90% completed. It did not come with a body. It had some Traxxas 4 tec wheels and tires and was missing the belt tensioner.
I swapped out the black CVA shocks with some HPI's, installed a set of aluminum touring wheels I had set back, and threw in an AYK modified motor. Had to buy a tensioner so I opted for an aluminum one. It comes stock fully ball raced with ball diffs front and rear.
Servo parts, body mounts, etc are still in the box, I'll get to those eventually.
TA03F Pro!
