Gold Pan shock shaft lengths ????

The rears are 1.32 but what are the fronts...Just want to be able to order the correct ones...If i am wrong about the rear lengths please let me know...It is for my early light gold chassis car...

Short arm car, .56 front. Wide track car, .71 fronts

Wasn't it still .56 on the wide arm graphite? The part numbers are the same in the manuals. I'll have to double check if covered in the 25 year thread.

Ahh. I see now. Wide arm gold pan, not all wide arm cars. Got it.

Yeah, with the four hole tower only though, same as the later TQ and 6030

What were the lengths of the stock front and rear shocks on a early gold pan rc10. My shocks are badly scratched and wore and need replacing but I would like to keep the stock shocktowers.

So I have this assortment of shock bodies and shafts that I have forgotten what they came off of. Is there any charts that floating around that have measurements and their equivalents i.e. a shock body 1.5 long = 1.32 AE Shock? Same for the shafts.

For shock bodies measure them on the insides. From the bottom of the shock inside to the top of the threads on the opening will be close to the shock stroke length.

Measure shafts from the bottom c-clip groove to the top of the taper on the...

im rebuilding a gold pan original car. So i figured i would rebuild the shocks. so i took one shock apart. these are Bottom Loading shocks. Unfortunately, i misplaced the Washer that holds everything in. The shock rebuild kit from Associated, 6440,...

Hi all, just wanted to share my blue carbon fiber shock towers I made today for my A stamp car. I think the blue works well with the gold. Also blue is my favorite color so that’s a thing too. Let me know what you think.

That's a pretty clean looking buggy. What sort of paint job is going with this? The blue is cool but it would be nice to tie it in with some other blue. How thick are your parts? If thicker than OEM, do the ball cups in the steering bell crank area...

Can anyone tell me the approx. lengths from eye to eye of these shocks?

Also is it really true that these fit all the following traxxas models - i.e. are the stock shocks of all these models literally identical? Saw this list on an ebay posting....

Yes, all those cars really use the same length shocks.
The fronts are roughly 3.5 and the rears are 4 .

Anybody have any info on old and new AE shocks, I'm looking compile a list with usable info for others to use.

I would think it would be good info to have recorded for people building somewhat custom cars.
