I am about to come into possesion of a factory green powdercoated RC10 chassis.
I know next to nothing regarding the history and specs of these chassis-Can someone please school me on when they came out, what they were available for and if they were available to the public,or just Team drivers?
Thank you all,in advance.
As far as I know they were available to the general public and released in the early 90's. Neon Lime Green was not the only color offered by AE, you could also get the chassis and nose plates powder coated in (according to an AE catalog) Neon Red, Neon Hot Pink, Blue and Yellow.
I have seen the green, blue, yellow and hot pink (also thought they did Orange?).
actionpowdercoat.com is where i go, its local, i dont know if they do mail order, i dont see why they wouldnt. they do a solid job and prices are decent 20-40 dollars for me usually. i would say tell them i sent ya, but they dont know me too well lol

This is our new chassis set for the Fox and Nova Fox. It took us a while to come up with this design. We use a similar interlocking setup as our Hotshot. We have two sets of servo mount holes, you can leave it offset or center it up. We designed it...

Same here...always liked the car...but this is just Perfection at its finest
I just finished these AE parts for a friend of a member, and they turned out great so I thought I'd share my results. I was sent a red powdercoated buggy nose to match. After some trial and error, I finally found the right technique and a red powder...

Thanks! No, that's badhoopty's rig and was a piece of art.
Can someone confirm if these are the right tires that came on the factory team RC10 B3? Or was there something else that was special in a more exclusive kit version (if there was one) of the B3? I'm planning my B3 fun/unnecessary metal shelfer build...
