I wish I had a New built 6010

Post by shodog »

I have always been on the hunt for a newbuilt 6010 for while now. I have passed up on a few on ebay and sometimes wish I had not. How much would I expect to pay for one? How much would my new built CE http://www.tamiyaclub.com/showroom_model.asp?cid=506&id=34 minus the aluminum wheels be worth. My thought is to get rid of the CE and hunt down a new built 6010

ygpm!

btw, you don't have to search high and low for a new built 6010. You could find one that is in very good shape and replace any worn parts with NIB ones. The important things to look for are an unscratched chassis and fresh tires. Those kind of cars can still be found. New bodies are still available from Tower, so that's not an issue either.

I already tried to win some auctions where that "sealedcity" guy also bade, I never did it... the funny thing is that I was once bidding on a NIB shrink wrapped Losi JRX Pro that sold for at least 450 bucks... one week later "sealedcity" was reselling it on Ebay but the box had been opened and was no more "sealed", he should change its pseudo for unsealingcity  I guess that RC10 would sell between 450 and 550$, but with that guy on it, it could also go for 650$... good luck Shodog

just a joke, reminder of an old post where some crazy guy was selling a NIB RC10 for more than 1000 bucks... remember? I really don't know how you can work 70 hours a week, when I work 40 hours (the legal week here in Europe is 38 hours/week), I feel like sh**

Yea, I was thinkin around 650 too since it was a 6016 bearing kit (haha the cream of the crop if ya got one!). Most of the crazy bidding for 6010 or any bushing kits have been between $300-$600, but guess these prices just aren't gonna hold.
