My story is pretty much like everyone else's.
Been out of the hobby for a while, run across something that gets me back in to it.
Trying to finish up a few of my Rc10 buggies and 2 Trucks. Selling off my spare parts / parts cars . Been wanting to get in to scalers. I finally scored a incomplete Bruiser. Always wanted to get a Rc4wd TF2 or a Tamiya Rough Rider.
Hi everyone, I guess I always knew it would come full circle, back to RC to me. I had an RC10 as a kid and started my RC addiction with a Hornet. The RC10 ended up so modified that it was barely recognizeable and I sadly sold it in highschool.
Now...

Bumping my own thread here. :P
I think I got pretty close (thanks to Jim at Winning Edge Design) to a reincarnation of my childhood RC10 with color scheme and Bud's bi-level wing. I don't think I'll go down the path of removing the aluminum...
Hi everybody
I'm down in Central Otago, New Zealand and I've just joined your fine forum. I've been into RC cars for years and used to race in the mid to late 80's early 90's. Cost me a fortune and I let all of my cars go way too cheap. Anyway as...
I posted my intro already - but I thought I would post here w my Kyosho stuff. I don't know where the Progress came from - but it is fairly complete and looks like it would be easy to get rolling again. Parts look pretty hard to come by...

Nice project car. As you said, they were fairly advanced technology back in the day. They didn't sell well, though. The 4WD & steering added a lot to the weight and the cars couldn't compete on the track. Compared to the Optima series at the time,...

That first video was awesome. Great editing and choice of music. Very professional looking.
And the suicide run across the street and the tire magically appearing was priceless.
I play guitar and bash RC cars, older and newer, for fun.
Brand new to this forum, will be lurking and toe dip posting for a while.

Hi Doc and welcome aboard! :D I hail from a tiny burg near Springfield Il. Been in Al since '96 (I came here for the Waffle House  ). We have a lot of members from Il; I reckon RC was very popular in the Mid-west bitd.
I'm Trevor from Halifax, NS. Like a lot of the rest of you, I dug out my old RCs after 20 years of being jammed in a box somewhere. I have 2 RC10 gold pans, a busted up Turbo Raider and a Kyosho Progress.
First off, my name is Alex, I love the old Losi's- I've been a huge RC fanatic since I can remember. (I'm 35 now. :( ) Got out of it for a bit, then got the bug again and started buying up stuff again. So the past few years, I've bought a couple...

Thank you.
I like the Kyosho Goldies. 8)
Thanks, I had some old ones and they looked/worked great.
Hi guys, just thought I should introduce myself.
My name is John and I have been into RC on and off for over 20 years. My first REAL RC car was an RC10 gold pan that i bought used in 1990.
These days I am more into the nitro vehicles and have owned...

Looks great, welcome to the forum! Neat sprint conversion!
I raced GT's back in the day. Got one of mine geared with DS gears, clocked with police radar over 70mph! When a gust of wind takes it at that speed, it's fly time baby! We...
