They must be compensating for a lack of something in another area. Possibly that "something" is not located on the truggy itself.kaiser wrote:the bigger question is why are truggy tires so damn big?

I actually have a few sets of those too - they're not too bad when you use 4 of the same size but when I have tried 2 larger on the rear it upsets the balance of the car and augments push.....
I think those wheels and tires may have spurred some regulation change by ROAR....

I do prefer the staggered look even on 4wd. At least on full scale cars, a narrower front tire tends to induce understeer.
Agreed on truggies, those things would be voted least likely for shelfer status in 20 years, beating out the RTR Slash.
