Stealth diff help please

Im after some advice,Just bought a grafite buggy,and the diff loosens as I drive it.I can tighten and loosen the diff by turning the wheels in oposite direction.I pulled it down and put it back together with new balls but still happening someone help please,Its a suprise for my brother so need to sort it before he visits next.

Usually that is more in the thrust bearing assembly and t nut. Did you rebuild the thrust and grease it up? Adjustment on the left side?

Severely worn t-nut? It should act as a lock-nut. You can use a dab of Loc-tite on it to help keep it set. I always do, even with a new one. However if yours is that bad it definitely needs to be replaced.

Thanks guys,I replaced the balls in the thrust bearing with 1/16 losi carbide balls but I think the culprit will be the T-nut,Ill try the loctite trick for the time being and order a new one.

Also make sure you are using the correct washers in the thrust. Using non hardened Steel washers will also cause it to loosen

OK,I noticed it had one normal steel washer in there and one hardened but didnt think anything of it.
Will the B4 or SC10 thrust washers,t-nut and bolt fit?

worse come to worse, you could always get a rebuild kit for the differential.

I think its the tc3 diff rebuild kit. I know i got one for like $8 from AmainHobbies a few days ago.
