Well, to simplify- associated made so many running changes you will be fine however you approach it! I would keep that chassis, non spring front end, and steel axle as an early version of the 12i. I can scan as a .pdf a early and late top deck for you if you want to try cutting one out. With the early upper you can't run front posts, with the late you can and should but they are hard to locate (I'm still looking also)
