Childhood RC10L build

Post by slapshot1979 »

Well here go's , I have carried this body around with me from move to move for the last 20 years. when I was about 11-13 age I "raced" at a small track at a nearby town and the owner was great with helping kids and letting us race with the big boys. I was hooked and raced up until its closing in about 1993.
I had no idea what I was doing or the electronics I used etc. I have no pictures only memory which isnt great. basically I know it was an associated with a original front end (no dynamic)
I am bascally building a car to go under this body to sit on my shelf.

I have been researching parts etc but its a tad overwhelming with the different models and aftermarket stuff, so it will be slow.

I recieved both chassis from a local guy that raced em in detroit in about 90-91. One is a CC LTO 235mm chassis, the other Im not sure..

I am looking for parts , I have BST thread (trade) and advice on this build.

Motor and left bulkheads look like they're for an L2 as well so won't work with that 10L top plate.

Build cars from both chassis. ;)

A CC LTO chassis to be period correct for that body, and an RC10L2.5 for the cool points.
