Added a 22 to the stable
So I traded one of my XXBK's for a slightly used 22, and I havent even really looked at it since. well last night I pulled it out and put the new body I ordered for it last summer. And tried out a rap from Darkside. it was the first time I ever used one of their wraps, The Jury is still out weather I will do it again on a buggy body. I love the out come, it looks much better than it would have with my painting skills. but it was about 1/8" smaller than it should have been. their was no over lap or fudge room at all. and I had to paint some color on the inside to fill in gaps. but over all I think it looks ok. it came with a nice white hard plastic wing, but I grabed one of my extra hot yellow pro se wings, I think the color is a better fit than the white one. what do you think?

Nice trade, the 22 is a very nice and easy car, you'll enjoy it, very robust and can be pushed hard, love mine(s)
Yellow is great, perfect match with the wheels!
Is this wing a 1/8th scale kyosho one?

I love my 22. I still love running my RC10 and JRX Pro but my 22 is just much easier to handle than either of them. Here is a pic of mine.

Very nice I love the Blue wheels. I dont know what the wing is off of. I was talking to Steggun29 (EverythingRC) on Ebay, I was looking for the Hot Racing Wings use to run, and he had these and said they would work so I bought like 5 of them? and I havent broke one yet.

Those are dyed losi 22 wheels. I did some in red as well that should work well with my other Andy's body.bearrickster wrote: Very nice I love the Blue wheels.

It was bodacious blue dazzle dye from Lightning Rod racing products. Unfortunately it was part of the old stock in the hobby shop lot I purchased and I don't think you can find it anymore.bearrickster wrote:Please give me some details on the dye. Re: Added a 22 to the stable
I've only driven a 22 one time and it was a very poorly setup mid motor on clay. Needless to say it didn't work so well. I don't really have a good idea of how they handle. I know they are durable. What advantages do you see in the real world on the track compared to lets say a JRX-Pro SE? Is it just more forgiving?

White wheels I bought 4 sets from a guy on rctech who was getting out and dyed all of them. I actually did not care for the blue that much when they first came out but they grew on me.

They all look good. I couldnt tell you anything about this car. I have never done anything with it. I have a new XXXcr and this I havent drove either one but I plan to in the near future, and I will think I will only be keeping one of them. I done have a place to race but I will be going to see my daughter soon and theirs a track down by her.fredswain wrote:.
