i'll enjoy my re-re and drive the poop out of it, flog it mercilessly around the track with the biggest grin.
And when done the 22 drivers will be on the hunt for the 'outdated 10"

I think Associated will release more info in July. I think that once they've confirmed he number of pre-orders, they finalise the production number and confirm the release date. Or at least I hope that's what they're doing! 8)
Do, or do not! There is no 'try'!
RC; Boats, Buggies, Trucks, Bash's, Racing and of course 'VINTAGE'!

I think losi should re re the heavy metal kits and the buggy to go along with it
do you think its a bad twilight zone episode for team associated to be re producing a buggy from yesteryear that is capable of beating their latest and greatest production buggy?

Of the 2000 allocated, Tower got 1500. All sold with in one hour. The odds of ever seeing one, slim!

If this was true they wouldn't be still selling pre-orders!

I just have a hard time believing that there is only 2000 total units to be made...there are more than 2000 people that want them and accepting pre order after pre order just to say "sorry you don't get one" would make a lot of potential customers and die hard customers rethink if they wanna do business with a company that would just do something so low and cold...would make me wanna buy a losi or other brand of rc car really quick. now if it is indeed such an insane low production order then I would be wondering why a company would even bother going the the trouble to even do it in the first place unless they were thinking about the big picture and seeing just how many re re untits that Tamiya is cranking out and selling and finally getting it through their heads to capitalize on all the kids that are now adults and have expendable income to recapture their youth...I mean there are web forums dedicated to crazy people like that these days full of people who help others keep 20+year old gold pans alive  but I guess ill wait and see how many people get disappointed and watch the lucky ones post up the "extras" they pre ordered on ebay at triple the price.....or maybe associated is trying the old bluffing game and will crank out as many as the world will buy and enjoy the swelling of their bank account just like Tamiya does everytime they sell one of their re release rc cars and trucks

First off, the profit margin on a kit is horrid. Take all the individual parts and add them up- it's close to the price on the side of the box that nobody sells them for and no one would pay. If they produce few kits, but tons of parts, they may be hoping to sell the parts to people willing to build out of pieces. Never know. It's not something I haven't done in the past!
It's time to stand up to the bully. Support the companies that support the industry, not the ones that tear it down. Say no to Traxxas
