Great find and save, I remember seeing this paint scheme around in the mags at the time. Thanks for sharing it all!

Racers that have been around a short while copy the next guy. It kinda peeves me when they expect the top guys at the track to hand over set ups etc... Back in the day this stuff was often closely kept secret by most. What ever happened to working it out for yourself?
As much of a marvel as the modern tech of today is I still hold fondly the memories of how it was done back in the 80's and 90's.
Figuring it out for yourself and trying something new is what made it fun! For me anyway. I remember doing things to mess with the other racers, Chris and I would bench design real new ideas all day long. And then for fun would do off the wall things to our cars to see who would have it on their car the next week at the track. Once we JB welded 1/8" hose fittings to the rear shock caps and then put a piece of rubber tubing on them between the two shocks in plain sight. That weeks club race was fun, sometime we did this to draw attention away from something we where really working on.
Old is more FUN

Team A&L know it all - really :)

I have another set that are brand new though. Happy days!
Do, or do not! There is no 'try'!
RC; Boats, Buggies, Trucks, Bash's, Racing and of course 'VINTAGE'!
